Retired S.A.P.D. Inspector Harry Callahan has left the crime and corruption of the city behind and keeps to himself in a trailer home on the city outskirts. The only human contact he gets is with his granddaughter who comes to visit him once a week with her mom. Her presence has taught him the value of having hope in a world filled with fear and despair.

When the son of a Mafia boss abducts both of them Harry must find a way to save her before he executes his evil plan to murder innocent hostages. Imprisoned on Devil's Island and sentenced to death, Harry must use all of his cunning and strength of will to overcome the impossible odds in front of him.

With a newly stolen secret miliary weapon the stakes are high and any rescue will require a high degree of precision. The clock is ticking and as Harry knows, the end game may leave no one standing.

This is an original screenplay written by David Labay that concludes the Dirty Harry series. While interest in making a final sequel in the franchise has waned in recent years it is clear that a proper treatment of the character's past has never been clearly defined. Any proper reboot will need to know his life's story.
