"You can run your hand along the soil and come up with a fistful of gold nuggets." ~ Jacob Waltz
For over a century man has searched in vain for the Lost Dutchman Mine. Many have died in an attempt to find it. According to the legend, Apache Indians warned of a 'Thunder God' which guarded the location from anyone that trespassed on the sacred ground near the Superstition Mountains.
In 1949, the 'Peralta Stone Maps' were unearthed in Arizon near the Superstition Mountains. Treasure hunters have assumed that they too must be leading to the hidden mine. Strange symbols decorate the stones and appear to point towards a hidden treasure. No one has successfully translated their meaning nor been able to find a proper starting place for any quest.
With the discovery of other related stones, the stone maps seem to lead away from the harsh desert of Arizona into another faraway place. Where is this treasure really located? Let's find out!
